Ports Update: Gore Bay, ON

Gore Bay is one of the busiest ports on the North Channel. It is well-situated for easy runs from Killarney to Detour Village. 

With a long maritime history, Gore Bay remains a popular stop-over for sailors cruising the North Channel.

New Destination - Baie Fine, ON

Baie Fine, at the northeast corner of the North Channel, is one of the longest freshwater fjords in the world. This 10 nm rip in the earth's surface offers breathtaking scenery and spectacular cruising. At its end, lies one of the Great Lake's iconic anchorages - The Poll.

New Section: The North Channel

The North Channel is one of the finest sailing grounds in the world; frequently ranked in the top 3-5. Fantastic scenery, splendid isolation and pristine waters make this a magnet for sailors exploring northern waters.

A new section has been added to www.great-lakes-sailing.com titled NORTH CHANNEL. Currently with 5 ports listed, over time, this section will see a number of other interesting ports and anchorages added.
